Basically, fangirling entries are public and most personal entries are f-locked.

In case someone doesn't know this, adding me into your f-list without me adding you back makes my public entries (but not my f-locked entries) appear in your f-page. It also enables me to read your f-locked entries. If you've added me into your f-list, and u wonder why can't u read my f-locked entries, it's because i haven't added u back (mostly because we've never talked before). If u want me to add u back into my f-list, please drop a comment here.

I have this filter for really personal entries so if u're in any way interested to read bout them, do let me know and i'll add u into the filter.
